Looking to ease the pain of their brutal loss to Miami last week, the South Florida Bulls travel to New Orleans where they’ll go head-to-head with Tulane Green Wave in an AAC conference battle on Saturday at Yulman Stadium. South Florida got a hefty dose of reality check in week 4 as they suffered a 50-15 beatdown at the hands of the Miami Hurricanes. The rushing power the Bulls displayed in the first three games was non-existent in the game against Miami, who conceded 62 rushing yards in the game. Worse, Bulls quarterback Byrum Brown exited in the fourth quarter with a still undisclosed injury, making his availability for Saturday’s showdown with Tulane up in the air. Meanwhile, Tulane registered their second win after outdueling Louisianna Regin’ Cajuns, 41-33. The Green Wave got a huge game from running back Makhi Hughes, who rushed for 166 yards on 23 carries with one touchdown. Quarterback Darian Mensah was held down to just 83 passing yards on 11-for-17 completions with one TD. Prior to their win last week, Tulane suffered back-to-back losses against CFP contenders Kansas State 34-27 and Oklahoma 34-19.
