Sorana Cirstea vs Alycia Parks Prediction & Picks - WTA Dubai Tennis Championships

In the United Arab Emirates this week, we have a WTA event taking place in Dubai, known as the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships. On Wednesday, during the very early hours for US viewers, Sorana Cirstea takes on Alycia Parks, who has been in fine hard-court form of late. 

The Romanian arrives here off the back of beating world number 11 Kasatkina last time out, which is certainly a pleasing result, though it's not as if the Russian has been in amazing form of late, so we probably shouldn't overreact to that victory, especially as Cirstea has a habit of being rather inconsistent. 

In contrast, consistency has definitely been a commodity than Alycia Parks has dealt in recently. The US player won her first three matches in Doha last week, before losing outh narrowly to Sofia Kenin, while she's since shown a high level of form in Doha, beating the likes of Kudermetova, Pera and Wang Xin, two of which are ranked above her. With those sort of results under her belt, the 24-year-old will be looking to kick on.
