After splitting the first four games of the opening set, Djokovic captured a breakpoint in the fifth game and then held his serves in the next to seize a 4-2 lead and the set. Both players managed to defend their serves in the second set, leading up to a tiebreaker where Djokovic showcased his class anew by scoring three unanswered points to ice the match.
