Puerto Rico is making a return in Olympic basketball after several years of absence. However, their first game in Paris saw them being on the wrong end of history as South Sudan registered their first-ever win in Olympic men’s basketball. Jose Alvarado poured in 26 points in his Olympic debut, while Tremont Waters added 18 for the Puerto Ricans.
