San Francisco would almost certainly need to qualify via a wild card berth, as the Dodgers are beginning to separate from the pack in the NL West division. But they sit just 3 games back from the wild card spot at the moment, with the potential of a win total in the mid-80s being enough to extend play into October. Both of these teams come into this matchup with positive home splits and negative away splits.
