The San Francisco 49ers will try to get back on the right side of the scoreboard when they travel to Wisconsin to face Jordan Love and the Packers at Lambeau Field in Green Bay. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:25 p.m. ET. According to the latest betting line at FanDuel, the Packers are three-point home favorites.
San Francisco will likely bring a sense of urgency into the game. Why? Because at 5-5, they would not be in the playoffs if the postseason started this week. Injuries have made it difficult for the 49ers to find and maintain any sense of rhythm. Christian McCaffrey is back finally, but now Brock Purdy, Trent Williams, Nick Bosa, and George Kittle are banged up. Green Bay is playing well on both sides of the ball, but Jordan Love has consistently made a mistake this season that could cost the Packers the game against a team like the 49ers—turnovers. He has had at least one interception in every game this season, with two vs. the Texans and three vs. the Vikings.
They are 7-3, so more often than not, they’ve been able to overcome them. But if they keep playing with fire, they’ll eventually get burned.
