Major League Soccer newbies San Diego FC will be back in action on home soil on Saturday evening, when they'll host the Seattle Sounders at Snapdragon Stadium. It certainly hasn't been a bad start to life at this level, with Saturday's hosts sitting third in the Western Conference after six games, three of which they've won. If you'd offered such a six-game start to Mikey Varas and his men before the campaign got underway, they likely would've taken it. Following a hard-fought win over LAFC last time out, the hosts will surely fancy themselves to get the better of an out-of-form Sounders side. 

It really isn't unfair to say that the Sounders have looked all over the place at the start of the 2025 MLS season. Brian Schmetzer's men are known for their ability to tussle with the best that Major League Soccer has to offer, but they've struggled to impose themselves so far this term, winning only one out of six, failing to score in 50% of their games, which just won't do.
