The Memphis Grizzlies will host the San Antonio Spurs at the FedEx Forum on Saturday, looking to sweep their regular-season series. The Grizzlies have been shaky lately, losing 5 of their last 8 games. Star point guard Ja Morant is starting to pick things offensively, leading the team in scoring in 3 of their last four games. In Memphis’ heartbreaking loss to the New York Knicks 113-114 on Friday, Morant pumped up 25 points on 9 for 22 shooting while adding seven assists. The Grizzlies had a two-point lead, 113-111, with 14.1 second left but OG Anunoby drained a cold-blooded trey to put the Knicks in the driver’s seat with 5.8 seconds left on the clock. After a promising start to their 2024-25 NBA season, the Spurs begin to collapse with star player Victor Wembanyama and head coach Gregg Popovich now confirmed out of the season as they try to recover from their respective health conditions.
