The Portland Trail Blazers will shoot for their sixth straight win as they play host the rejigged Sacramento Kings on Thursday at Moda Center. The Blazers have steadily climbed their way back to relevance in the Western Conference playoff race after winning their last five games and 9 of their last 10 games. Portland earned their fifth straight win on Tuesday after blowing past the Indiana Pacers, 112-89. Anfernee Simmons recorded 22 points and 7 assists, and Jerime Grant scored 20 to power the Blazers’ offense. Portland also got solid contributions from Shaedon Sharpe and Scott Henderson, who chipped in 17 points each. The Kings have reshaped their roster following the trade that sent De’Aaron Fox to the San Antonio Spurs and receiving Zach Lavine from the Chicago Bulls in a three-team trade. Sacramento also added Jonas Valanciunas in a trade with the Washington Wizards, further solidifying their frontcourt depth. The Kings, though, dropped to their third loss in four games against the Orlando Magic 111-130, on February 5.
