Red hot Roma will attempt to make it six Serie A wins on the spin, when they host out of form Cagliari at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday. After an awful start to the season, Roma have completely turned their campaign around since the November introduction of veteran boss Claudio Ranieri. Last week's win at Empoli means they are unbeaten since mid December, a run that has taken them to within touching distance of a place in Europe next season.
Cagliari have now gone four games without a victory following last weekend's drab 1-1 home draw with Genoa. That poor form has seen them drop down to 14th place, only four points clear of the relegation places. Scoring goals has been the big problem for Davide Nicola's team, and they have found the net just twice in their last 380 minutes of football.
