Opelka won his two Davis Cup men’s singles matches, downing Christian Garin of Chile 6-3 4-6 7-6(3) and Henri Squire of Germany 6-7(4) 7-6(9) 6-3 to help the Americans advance to the next round of the competition. Unfortunately, Opelka lost in the first qualifying match against Denis Yevseyev 7-6(4) 4-6 6-3 at the 2024 Hangzhou Open.
