Matchday 31 of Ligue 1 kicks off with an exciting fixture. Starting at 2:45 PM ET on Friday, Paris Saint-Germain welcome OGC Nice to the Parc des Princes in the French capital. After a run of 10 consecutive wins in Ligue 1, PSG were held 1-1 at FC Nantes in midweek. No cause for concern for Luis Enrique's team. They have already secured the league title for several weeks. However, the club from the French capital will be hoping for a return to winning ways to boost their confidence ahead of the forthcoming fixtures. In addition to a Coupe de France final against Stade de Reims, the team from Paris will play Arsenal in the semi-finals of the Champions League. The first leg will take place next Tuesday at Emirates Stadium.
PSG will be looking to build up their confidence before travelling to Arsenal for the first leg of their Champions League semi-final.
For their part, OGC Nice are keeping their ambitions high as the Ligue 1 season draws to a close. The Aiglons are 5th in the standings, 2 points behind LOSC (4th). PSG can look forward to the final sprint with a smile on their faces. Luis Enrique will have no absentees whatsoever for this latest round of Ligue 1 matches. However, it would not be surprising to see him call up a few key players just before the first leg of the Champions League semi-final. Having started on the bench last Tuesday in Nantes, Désiré Doué and Bradley Barcola could find themselves back in the starting line-up for the reception of OGC Nice. This could enable the Paris-based coach to rest Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Ousmane Dembélé before the trip to Arsenal.
