Two of Europe's most in-form teams meet this week in a mouthwatering Champions League clash at the Parc des Princes. Both PSG and Liverpool have comfortable leads in their domestic leagues and are arguably playing their best football of the season. As well as holding a huge advantage in the Premier League table, Arne Slot's Reds also topped the league phase of the Champions League with seven wins in their eight matches. In contrast, PSG finished down in 15th place, but showed their class by trouncing Brest 10-0 on aggregate in the playoff round. Surprisingly, these two European heavyweights have only played each other twice before in the competition. A last minute winner from Roberto Firmino gave Liverpool a dramatic 3-2 victory when the teams met on Matchday One of the 2028-19 group stage, before PSG gained revenge with a 2-1 win on Matchday Five.Limited Offer. PSG - Liverpool: Form Analysis
PSG's recent run of form has been nothing short of sensational. Saturday's 4-1 thrashing of Lille means they have won 19 of their last 20 games in all competitions. That run includes crucial Champions League victories over Manchester City and Stuttgart, as well as the 10-0 play off thrashing of Brest.
Reds on course for a treble
Liverpool are on a 24 game unbeaten run in the Premier League and are yet to be defeated away from Anfield. That incredible form was also on display in the league phase of the Champions League where they won their opening seven games to finish top of the standings. The Reds have also qualified for the final of the Carabao Cup, where they will face Newcastle United at Wembley, but fell to a shock 1-0 defeat at Plymouth in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

PSG & Liverpool Squad Analysis
PSG teenager Warren Zaire-Emery has missed recent games with a minor ankle sprain, but he is expected to be available for selection on Wednesday. That means manager Luis Enrique will have a fully fir squad to choose from, including star players Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Willian Pacho, who were both rested for the victory over Lille.
Liverpool stars walking a tightrope
Arne Slot will be missing Joe Gomez and Connor Bradley for the trip to Paris, but aside from that the Reds will be at full strength. However, Ibrahima Konate, Andy Robertson and Harvey Elliott are all one game away from suspension, meaning that if any of them pick up a yellow card on Wednesday, they will miss next week's second leg.

Our PSG vs Liverpool Prediction
This looks set to be one of the games of the season and features arguably the two most in-form strikers in Europe. Both Ousmane Dembele and Mo Salah have been scoring for fun since the turn of the year, and we are tipping them to both find the net once again on Wednesday night. Both players are best priced at around 2.75 to score at any time in the game, but adding both to your bet slip creates a tasty 7.50 double. Our prediction for PSG vs Liverpool is: Ousmane Dembele and Mo Salah to score.
