The Lakers scored their first victory of the season after outlasting the Minnesota Timberwolves, 110-103, on Tuesday. Anthony Davis led the charge with a monster double-double, posting 36 points and 16 rebounds. Lebron James had a subpar scoring output with 16 points on 7-for-16 shooting, but he and his son, Bronny James, made history by becoming the first father-and-son duo to play together on an NBA court. The Suns emerged as the winner of a tough double-overtime battle with the Los Angeles Clippers, 116-113, on Wednesday at the newly-built Intuit Dome. Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal combined for 49 points while Devin Booker added 15 points to power the Suns past the Clippers, who missed star Kawhi Leonard on opening night.
