The Dallas Mavericks (32-32) will try to get back on the right side of the scoreboard when they host the Phoenix Suns (29-34) at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX. Tipoff for this contest between two Western Conference teams is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET with coverage via ABC/ESPN+.
Dallas has gone 6-8 since the fateful trade that sent Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers. Since that dreadful day, Anthony Davis went down with an injury and Kyrie Irving was lost for the season due to an ACL injury. They have lost six of their last seven, including their last four in a row, and last played on Friday, losing 122-111 to the Memphis Grizzlies. While they have won more than they’ve lost at home (19-14), they have lost their last three home games. But they may be in luck since they are playing a Phoenix team that has struggled when it plays on the road this season (11-21). The Suns are coming off another road loss, 149-141 in OT, to the Denver Nuggets. Devin Booker led the way with 34 points and six rebounds, followed by Kevin Durant, who scored 29 points and nine boards.
