One of Saturday's Major League Soccer fixtures sees an Eastern Conference clash between the Philadelphia Union and Atlanta United, which is a game between two teams looking to bounce back after they both suffered disappointing defeats last time out. The hosts come into this game in rather poor shape, having won none of their last three, two of which they've lost. Not only have they failed to win any of those three games, but they've failed to score in two of them, scoring just one goal. They've also scored just three goals in their last five, which let's be honest, just won't do.
For the Five Stripes, scoring goals hasn't been a huge issue, though they too come into this fixture having misfired last time out, losing by a goal to zero at home the New England Revolution. Not great. In general, though, they've notched plenty, recently scoring four against NYCFC and two against Cincinnati. Can their ability to do damage in the final third hold them in good stead at Subaru Park? We'll soon find out.
