The franchise is coming off a disappointing campaign, with 25 wins to 57 losses and only 12th place in the East. This year, few observers expect the Canadian franchise to reach the playoffs. The Raptors' new challenge will be to focus on the progression and development of their young talent in order to build a more promising future.
The arrival of Paul George this summer in free agency now places Philadelphia among the serious contenders for the title. Alongside Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey, this trio promises to make sparks fly, with a blend of experience, versatility and youth. These three players with different profiles should change the dynamic of the Sixers, who are hoping to finally turn a corner this season. The recruitment of the former Clippers winger considerably strengthens the ambitions of the Pennsylvania franchise.
