The Philadelphia 76ers (23-46) visit the San Antonio Spurs (29-39) on Friday, March 21, 2025, at the Frost Bank Center.

In their first matchup, the Sixers beat the Spurs, 111-106. It was a low-scoring game that featured Victor Wembanyama on defense. In the upcoming game, Wemby is sitting out but so are the Sixers' top stars.

Paul George, Tyrese Maxey, and Joel Embiid are all out due to injuries. Instead, the Sixers will rely on the continued brilliance of midseason pickup Quentin Grimes. In the last six games, Grimes has averaged 31.8 points and 4.8 assists, including a superb 42.9% three-point shooting.

But even with Grimes's dynamic performance, the Sixers have failed to reach at least 106 points in three of the last five games. To make matters worse, their rotational players Kelly Oubre Jr., Andre Drummond, Eric Gordon, and Kyle Lowry are also out with injuries against the Spurs.

As for the Spurs, they have won three of their last five games. However, they failed to breach more than 120 points in their last two games. Wemby and star guard De'Aaron Fox are both nursing season-ending injuries.

The Spurs might have the upper hand in this matchup, but don't expect a lot of offensive fireworks in this game.
