Orlando Pride will look to continue their excellent start to the 2025 NWSL season when they face San Diego Wave FC at the Inter & Co Stadium on Saturday evening. The Pride gave Chicago Stars a 6-0 hiding in their first game of the season before defeating Gotham FC 2-0 on Matchday 2. Their attack was very efficient last week, finding the net with their four shots on target. Interestingly, they only took six shots throughout the evening, highlighting their attacking efficiency.
San Diego Wave, on the other hand, will be looking to pull an upset against the league leaders. They have looked solid this season, starting the campaign with a 1-1 draw against Angel City FC on the road. San Diego then defeated Utah Royals at home last weekend in a 3-2 thriller, with Gia Corley scoring the winner. These results have left them in fourth position, level on points with Bay FC, who have a better goal difference. As expected, they are the betting underdogs on Saturday.
