Orlando Pride and Angel City FC will lock horns on Friday night in Matchday 6 of the 2025 NWSL season. The Pride will look for an immediate response after losing 1-0 to Washington Spirit on Friday night at the Inter & Co Stadium. This result proved costly after KC Current won 2-0 against Houston Dash to move three points clear of the second-placed Orlando Pride at the top of the standings. Another loss would leave them struggling to keep up with the pace.
Angel City, meanwhile, have also started the season solidly, sitting in fifth position with eight points. They lost 4-0 at home to Gotham FC last weekend, snapping their four-game unbeaten run. This game highlighted their defensive struggles, conceding in each of their five assignments this season. They must improve on that aspect or face a severe demolition against the wounded Orlando Pride.
