It is pretty clear that UConn is not having as much success as they did the last two years, however this was to be expected given the turnover on their team with multiple players going to the NBA. While the Huskies are unlikely to win their third National Championship in a row, they look likely to advance to the second-round against an average Oklahoma team.
One of the main issues with the Sooners this season is that their defense is allowing an average of 74.8 points per game. This usually ends up meaning that their offense has to simply outscore the other team but the problem with that is UConn has a defense that allows less than 70 points per game on average.
