After cruising through their non-conference schedule undefeated, the Sooners were probably feeling pretty good entering conference play. Alabama gave them a solid welcome with a 107-79 beatdown. Texas A&M followed with an 80-78 win, Georgia won by ten 72-62, and Texas took them down 77-73. They have since gone 3-1, including a dominant effort against Vanderbilt last Saturday (97-67). Of course, beating a team like Auburn is easier said than done. The Tigers have been the No. 1 team in the nation since Week 11. They have not lost since Dec. 4 (84-78 vs. Duke) and will take a 14-game win streak into tonight’s game. During the streak, they dominated most opponents, winning by double digits. However, three of their last six wins were by a single possession.
