The New York Yankees (5-2, 1-0 away) will try to keep the good times rolling today when they take on the Pittsburgh Pirates (2-6, 0-1 at home) at PNC Park in the second game of a three-game series. New York won Game 1 on Friday. Max Fried threw 5 2/3 innings for the Yankees, giving up six hits and one earned run. Pirates opener Mitch Keller was chased after 3 2/3 innings, giving up eight hits and seven runs. Aaron Judge continued his torrid start to the season with a two-run bomb in the seventh inning that made the score 9-1, New York. The Pirates added three runs at the bottom of the inning to make the final 9-4.

New York is starting right-hander Marcus Stroman today. Stroman had a rough time in his first start of the season (vs. Brewers, March 30). He only lasted 4 2/3 innings after giving up five hits, three earned runs, and a home run. In 80 at-bats vs. Stroman, Pirates hitters have hit .338 with just one home run and 12 strikeouts. Pittsburgh starter Bailey Falter did not factor into the decision in his first start.
