The UCF Knights look to kick off their second season in the Big 12 with a bang as they introduce a retooled lineup led by prized quarterback K.J Jefferson against New Hampshire on Thursday at FBC Mortgage Stadium in Orlando, Florida. After overachieving in their debut season in the Big 12, UCF has set out to achieve more milestones this year with a much more talented roster. The Knights will be banking on their new quarterback, KJ Jefferson, to take their offence to another level. A mix of young and seasoned targets, such as wide receivers Kobe Hudson, Ja’varrius Johnson, and senior tight-end Reece Adkins, will flank him. New Hampshire finished last season with a 4-4 win-loss card in CAA conference play and 6-5 overall. The Wildcats hope to compete better this coming season with new quarterback Seth Morgan, who will play his first season with his new team as a red-shirt senior after transferring from Virginia Military Institute in 2023. Morgan has completed 452 out of 735 passes in three seasons with VMI for 4,851 yards with 28 touchdowns and 24 interceptions.
