It's the Netherlands versus England in the 2024 Euro semifinals. The Orange became the fourth semifinalists after defeating Turkey 2-1 in the quarter-finals on Saturday evening. Samet Akaydin put the Turkish side ahead in the 35th minute before Stefan de Vrij thumped in a header to level the scores in the 70th minute. Ronald Koeman's side got the second and the winning goal six minutes later after Mert Muldur's own goal. Earlier in the evening, England defeated Switzerland to book their place in the last four of this competition. This match ended 1-1 after extra time, with the Three Lions once again failing to impress on the big stage. Breel Embolo put Switzerland in front in the 75th minute before Arsenal's Bukayo Sake levelled 5 minutes later with a beautiful strike. Southgate must get his big guns firing with big matches coming up.
