The Spaniard will be looking to impress on home soil, but his Portguese opponent, who is currently ranked 17 places above Munar, will be hoping to cause something of a minor upset. In the early betting, thanks primarily to the fact that he's playing in his native Spain, Munar is the favourite ahead of this match, though I must take issue with that. The Spaniard hasn't been in great form on clay, losing three of his last six, while he's lost each of his last two matches against players ranked above him, which doesn't exactly bode well. It does bode well for Borges, however. Nuno Borges has looked more than useful on clay in recent weeks, beating decent players like Musetti and I really would not be surprised if he got the better of the lower-ranked Munar here.
