The Moroccans made a promising and slightly surprising start to this tournament by beating Argentina on match-day one, securing the win in dramatic fashion as their opponents had a goal disallowed deep into stoppage time. To be honest, I'm struggling to see why the Moroccans are as strongly fancied by the early market as they are. Sure, they won well last time out, but they weren't tested all that much, while they didn't create the most positive impression against the Ukrainians before that. In contrast, after being nowhere near as outplayed as the scoreline suggested against the tournament hosts on match-day one, the US team has looked very good indeed, especially going forward. They have lots of offensive options, while their end-product has been on point in each of their last two games. With the likes of Yow, Paredes and Mihailovic in good form, don't be surprised to see them cause what at the minute would be a minor betting upset. Our Prediction: USA to Win.
