The Los Angeles Lakers look to even the score with the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 2 of their Western Conference first-round series on Tuesday at Crypto.com Arena.

The Lakers suffered an embarrassing 22-point loss in Game 1 as the Wolves put the clamps on them all game long. Los Angeles shot a cold 39.8 percent from the field, with four-time MVP LeBron James finishing with only 19 points on 8 for 18 shooting. Luka Doncic scored a game-high 37 points along with 8 assists, but he could not do much without solid contributions from his teammates.

The Wolves came out of the gates already in beast mode, knocking down 51.2 percent of their shot attempts, including 21 of 42 from the three-point territory. Anthony Edwards dazzled with a sweet all-around game, recording 22 points, 8 rebounds, and 9 assists. He also got plenty of help from Jaden McDaniels (25 points), Naz Reid (23) and Julius Randle (16), who also did an outstanding job on the defensive end of the court.
