The Cavaliers have won two in a row and six of their last seven games, further strengthening their grip on the No.1 spot in the East with a 42-10 record. In their most recent win over the Washington Wizards 134-124, All-Star guard Donovan Mitchell dropped 33 while fellow All-Star teammates Darius Garland and Evan Mobley tallied 23 and 27 points, respectively.
The Timberwolves are on a three-game win streak, with their latest victory coming at the expense of the surging Portland Trail Blazers, 114-98.
Jaden McDaniels erupted for 30 points, Naz Reid had 23 points and Nickeil Alexander-Walker added 21 to offset the absence of star player Anthony Edwards and lead the Wolves to their 15th home win this season.
