Purdue had a 41-28 lead at halftime, but Micah Parish fueled the Buckeyes’ 45-point explosion in the second half to complete a come-from-behind win. Junior forward Trey Kauffman-Rein scored 26 points on 11 for 16 shooting while Braden Smith and Fletcher Loyer, chipped in 12 and 15 points, respectively. The Wolverines hacked out an 80-76 OT win over the Northwestern Wildcats on January 19. Coming off an 81-84 loss to the Minnesota Golden Gophers in another overtime game, Michigan engaged in a back-and-forth battle with Northwestern before Roddy Gayle Jr. and Vladislav Golden made crucial baskets in overtime to seal the win for the Wolverines, who improved to 6-1 (14-4 overall).
