Cleveland Cavaliers, the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference, and Miami Heat, the No. 8 seed in the conference, will clash in a high-stakes Game 2 of this best-of-seven series. The Cavaliers made an early statement in this tournament with a dominant 121-100 win in the first game on Sunday night. They bagged seven of their eighteen 3-pointers in the fourth quarter, with Donovan Mitchell proving why he is the main man, scoring 30 points and assisting four.
Miami Heat must also come up with a game plan to contain Ty Jerome, who catalyzed the contest with 28 points and five rebounds. You can call him a playoff newbie or anything else, but Jerome keeps proving his doubters wrong this season. The Cavs will now be eager to step up their game and bag Game 2 to take a comfortable 2-0 lead before the return leg at the Kaseya Center.

The Cavaliers are by far the better team in this series and shouldn’t have any problems dominating Game 2 from start to finish. They were strong at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse during the regular season, finishing the campaign with a 41-11 record.
The Cavaliers also lost only seven of their 41 matches at home this season. Miami Heat, meanwhile, will have to be more efficient to get results in Game 2. They managed to shoot 48.8% from the floor in the first game, although they still lost by 21 points. The Heat also kept pushing in the second and third quarters until the Cavs took the fourth quarter 34-21. Seeing them cover the 12-point spread as underdogs on Wednesday night will be unsurprising.
