In early action the bookies set the Clippers as favorites by about 4 points to beat the Grizzlies in Los Angeles on Wednesday. This, without knowing the outcome of Memphis' clash with the Suns in Phoenix the night before. However, this does not weaken the ferocious Grizzlies team in any way, which when playing on back-to-back nights has the 2nd best winning percentage in the NBA, in those cases it has a record of 7-1.

But Memphis, even with its 35 victories through Wednesday, has not yet been able to beat the Clippers this season or in any of the last 4 meetings. In addition to winning in all of them, the Clippers always started as favorites against the Grizzlies by at least 4 points and always won.

In the new Intuit Dome the Clippers have a positive record of 18-10 despite having a hard time getting the first wins in their new home at the beginning of the season. The Clippers haven't played since Feb. 8, when they destroyed the Utah Jazz 130-111 with a 57% field goal percentage, but are 5-5 in their last 10 games.
