Meanwhile, Marta Kostyuk is aiming for the biggest triumph of her career by booking her place in the women’s singles semis of the Olympics. Kostyuk defeated Lulu Sun of New Zealand 6-4 6-3 and Maria Sakkari of Greece 4-6 7-6(5) 6-4 to arrange a quarterfinal showdown with Vekic.
