Happening at the same time as the ATP events in Delray Beach and Marseille, there's clay-court action in South America this week, where the Argentina Open takes place in the bustling city of Buenos Aires. One of the more interesting second-round matches taking place on Thursday, happening quite early in the morning for those stateside, is the one between Mariano Navone and Holger Rune. Facing Holger Rune is never what you'd call an easy task, but Navone, being an Argentine, is playing on home soil, while we know that the man ranked 47th can often tussle with better players on the clay. Moreover, it is the Argentine who has had the benefit of getting used to the courts in Buenos Aires, playing in the first round, beating countryman Francisco Comesana. In contrast, this will be Rune's first clay-court match in many months, while it's not as if the world number 12 turns up at this tournament in flying form. He was soundly beaten by a lower-ranked player in Rotterdam last week, while he's also lost three of his last five, so don't be too surprised if this isn't straightforward for the Danish player.Limited Offer.
