Manchester City's quest for back-to-back trebles takes them to Wembley for an FA cup semi final showdown against Chelsea. The Blues come into the game in good form despite a turbulent season. Their 6-0 victory over Everton on Monday night, was arguably their best display of the campaign, and in Cole Palmer, they have one of the Premier League's most in-form players. As usual, City are finding top gear during the latter part of the season. They are unbeaten in 2024 and have moved effortlessly to the top of the Premier League.

Both teams had two goal victories in their quarter finals, with City cruising to a 2-0 victory over Newcastle, whilst Chelsea got past ten men Leicester City thanks to two late goals. Chelsea have not won any of their last 8 games against City, including a 4-0 thumping in last season's FA Cup. Their last victory over City was in the 2021 Champions League final.
