A game that will have a huge bearing on the destination of the Premier League title will be played on Sunday as Manchester City (19-6-3) host Arsenal (20-4-4) at the Etihad. This will be the third time that the teams have met, Arsenal winning the reverse fixture 1-0 at the Emirates in October and winning the Community Shield on penalties after a 1-1 draw. City have a strong record in this fixture in recent years but one of their key defensive components, John Stones, limped off early in England's game with Belgium in midweek. That could mean that City start this game a little more compact and cautious at home than is often the case, especially given the huge importance of this match.

Arsenal is top of the league at present as they were at this point last year. Last season, they were five points clear after 28 games, but a record of 4-3-3 in their last 10, saw City claim the title. They had drawn three straight before arriving here, with a 1-4 loss turning the momentum in City's favor for good. Nine wins in 10 games coming in has Arsenal arriving in better heart, but they have a couple of continuing injury worries to both Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka. Their participation or not will play a huge part in what Arsenal are able to get out of this fixture. Arsenal have 17 goals in their last three away games in the Premier League at West Ham, Burnley and Sheffield United but only 17 in their other 11 away games combined.
