Nardi topped Zizou Bergs of Belgium 6-4 7-6(3) to secure his entry into his first quarterfinal of the year. 33 of Nardi’s 74 points came from his firsts serves. He also converted on all three breakpoint chances, including a pivotal service break on the 11th game of the second set that allowed him to storm back from a 3-5 deficit.
