The Los Angeles Rams (3-4 SU, 2-5 ATS) visit the Seattle Seahawks (4-4 SU, 2-5-1 ATS) in a game that could go a long way toward breaking open the NFC West. All four teams sit with four defeats, and none has shown any signs of consistency against each other.
This matchup has been dominated by Los Angeles as of late, as the Rams have won five of the past seven. The teams also tend not to split their meetings, as the past three seasons have ended in a sweep for one of the two teams. To make matters worse for the Seahawks, the defense has really been letting down as of late. In their past four defeats, the Seahawks have allowed 29 points or more each time.

These teams do tend to play tight games, as three of the past four meetings have been decided by four points or less. Seattle has won two of those three games, but those were lower-scoring affairs. The Seahawks’ lack of a defense means that the offense really needs to hit the gas for them to win, and that hasn’t been happening.
Seattle’s ceiling is usually in the high 20s, as they’ve only broken that number once all season. The Rams have also had issues getting over 20 points, as they’ve been held to 20 points or less four times this year. The bigger issue is that Los Angeles hasn’t broken 20 points on the road all season. This is clearly a team that does not play well on the road, potentially giving Seattle the edge. Our prediction for Los Angeles vs. Seattle is Seahawks +2.5.
