Seeking an end to their two-game skid, the Los Angeles Lakers visit Paolo Banchero and the Orlando Magic at KIA Center on Monday.
The Lakers’ playoff push went through some bumpy roads, losing their last two games against the Milwaukee Bucks 89-118 and the Chicago Bulls 115-146. Los Angeles remains the No.1 team in the Pacific Division but those losses knocked them down by two spots to No.4 in the west with a 43-27 record. LeBron James has rejoined the team after spending two weeks recovering from a groin injury. The Lakers superstar recorded 17 points on 7 for 16 shooting in the blowout loss to the Bulls.
The Magic are fighting for their playoff lives, sitting at No.8 in the East standings with a 33-38 slate. On Friday, Paolo Banchero exploded for 30 points and Franz Wagner added 21 to power Orlando past the Washington Wizards 120-105. The win gave the Magic their fourth win in seven games.

The Magic, who defeated the Lakers 119-118 in their first meeting this season, are 0-4 in their last four games at home. However, the Magic will bring their A-game against the Lakers, knowing a win or a competitive match against the No.4 team in the West would significantly bolster their morale.
