Oklahoma City Thunder (64-14) versus LA Lakers (48-30) is an exciting Western Conference game at the Paycom Center on Tuesday night. The Thunder have already secured the No. 1 seed in the conference and are under no pressure to win their remaining matches. However, Mike Daigneault’s men have been inconsistent lately, giving up their last two assignments against the Rockets and the Thunder. They didn’t look sharp against the Lakers last weekend after failing to score 100+ points for the first time this season. The fans will hope for an immediate response.
JJ Redick’s Lakers, meanwhile, have no room for slip-ups in the conference. They are second in the standings, 16 games behind the Thunder and only 1.5 games ahead of the Nuggets. The Lakers are also just 2.0 games ahead of the eighth-placed Grizzlies. This means only two teams (Thunder and Rockets) have confirmed their postseason spots. A win against Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night will all but seal their qualification spot.
