The Lakers' eight-game winning streak was enough to make them the fourth favorites on betting sites to win this NBA championship, but the two recent losses to the Celtics and Nets showed they can lose too.

The Lakers still lost at the Barclays Center as 5.5-point favorites against the Nets and will be underdogs on Thursday when they continue their road trip against the Bucks.
JJ Redick didn't make excuses for the injuries that hampered his team against the Nets, and instead criticized his team's defensive performance, saying they were just sitting back and watching the Nets take seven open three-pointers.
This is the first time the Bucks and Lakers have met this season, and Antetokounmpo's team will be the favorite on Thursday after losing the last three games against the Magic, Cavaliers, and Pacers.
