The Los Angeles Lakers will travel north of California to take on intra-state rival Golden State Warriors on Christmas Day at Chase Center. The Lakers will step onto the hardwoods looking to bounce back from a 114-117 loss to the Detroit Pistons on December 23. LeBron James stuffed in the stats sheet with a triple-double, posting 28 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists in 35 minutes of play. Anthony Davis also put up 19 points, 10 assists and 6 dimes but the Lakers committed 18 turnovers and allowed the Pistons to shoot 51 percent from the field. The Warriors hope a victory over the Lakers will lead to more consistent winning after they have dropped 10 of their last 13 games. The Warriors’ recent loss to the Indiana Pacers’ 111-105 exposed the team’s struggling offense as they shot just 43 percent from the field against one of the weakest defensive teams in the NBA.
