The Yankees were able to muster only 5 hits in their loss in Game 3 of the World Series. Now the Dodgers are ahead 3-0 thanks to their good relief that seems to be too much for the Yankees' bats, but also thanks to Freeman who hit a HR in each game of the final Series with the 3rd he hit with Ohtani on to put the Dodgers up 2-0.

With 2 outs in the 9th inning, Verdugo was able to make it 4-2 with a HR, but perhaps Game 4 is the one in which the Yankees have the best chance of winning, as Roberts will opt for a bullpen game, while Gil will be in charge of avoiding a sweep in a World Series, something that has not happened since 2012.

For Gil, this will be his second start of the postseason, the first was against the Guardians in Game 4 where in 4 IP he allowed 2 ER and struck out 3.

The betting sites have set the Yankees as favorites for Game 4 with odds as low as -145, being the most lopsided game of the series so far, but the Yankees were also favorites to win Game 3 and at no point in the game were they ahead on the scoreboard.
