After losing 2 of 3 to Arizona in their last homestand, they were then swept by the Reds in Cincinnati. Yamamoto got roughed up a bit in their last game. He allowed 4 runs on 6 hits and ultimately was handed the loss. The Mets are coming off a win that snapped their own 5-game losing streak on Sunday. They defeated the Giants 4-3 with a 3-run 9th that ended with a walk-off RBI single by Omar Narvaez. They will have Jose Quintana (1-4, 5.13) on the hill for them. He is coming off 6 innings against the Guardians in which he allowed 3 runs on 4 hits and did not factor into the decision. The Dodgers will counter wirh Tyler Glasnow (6-3, 3.09) who picked up his 3rd loss when he allowed 3 runs on 4 hits in 6 innings against the Diamondbacks. This Dodger team will need the bats to get going if they hope to snap their losing streak. In the 5 games they have lost, they were held to just an average of 2.2 runs per game.

He seems to inspire run support and with Quintana having such an inflated ERA, the Dodgers should not have a problem putting some crooked numbers on the board here. Mookie Betts has 7 hits on 25 Abs against Quintana and 3 of those hits went for extra bases, look for him to be a big factor in this one.
