In what could be, at least on paper, the most lopsided matchup in the entire MLB, the World Series hopeful Los Angeles Dodgers take on the Chicago White Sox in the Windy City. The White Sox are 21-59 this year, winning just one of their last six games. No extra time to travel has been set aside for these two clubs, as they will play late into the night on Wednesday. The Dodgers blanked Chicago 3-0, scoring all their runs in the 7th inning or later to steal a game that appeared to be up for grabs for the majority of the proceedings. One of the White Sox’s best pitchers in Erick Fedde will attempt to reverse their fortunes, a righty who is 5-2 on the year with a 3.05 ERA. He will be up against Gavin Stone, an incredible young pitcher who made his debut just last year but has earned 8 wins already in 2024.
