The Los Angeles Dodgers (88-61) hope to split their 4-game series with the Atlanta Braves (81-68) tonight. The Braves took the 1st two games by a combined score of 16-3 but fell yesterday 9-2. Jorge Soler has gone 5-10 with two doubles, a home run, and accounted for 4 runs scored. Matt Olson has also provided a strong series at the plate for Atlanta. He is 4-11 with 4 doubles and 6 RBIs. Spencer Schwellenbach pitched 6 innings and held the Dodgers to just 2 runs on 4 hits in the game one victory. Chris Sale picked up his 17th win of the season in game two by pitching 6 innings and holding them to 1 run on 5 hits. In game three, Walker Buehler walked 5 and struck out 5 while holding Atlanta to 1 earned run on 3 hits which helped them get the 9-2 win and avoid any possible sweep.
