Another rivalry is in store for MLS fans this weekend, as El Trafico joins the Hell is Real derby on the docket. “El Tráfico,” a play on “El Clásico,” pits the two Los Angeles-based teams against one another. This time, the LA Galaxy will play the role of host as they welcome LAFC to Carson. Both sides have introduced European stars to their ranks this summer. Marco Reus joins the LA Galaxy in their push for a Western Conference crown, while Olivier Giroud will look to do the same for LAFC. It would be inaccurate to claim these two teams needed more offensive help, however. Both rank amongst the top in scoring across the entire country, foreshadowing our prediction for this game. Rivalry matches can quickly get out of hand, and Reus and Giroud surely know their share of derbies with their experiences in Germany and France.
