The Cyclones enter the game coming off a demoralizing loss to Arizona on Monday. Iowa State appeared to have the game in hand late when a 55-foot heave for the Wildcats went in, sending the game to overtime. With all the momentum in their favor, Arizona cruised to an 86-75 win. While the struggle has been real for Kansas State this season, the Wildcats will take a hot hand into this game. K-State is on a two-game win streak, one a 13-point win over a ranked West Virginia team and the other a 28-point beatdown vs. Oklahoma State.
On paper, this is one Iowa State should win relatively easily. But Kansas State has been playing its best basketball of the season. Can they do it again against Iowa State?
