This highly anticipated fight will go down on Sunday, November 17, at the Madison Square Garden in New York City. It will mark the return of two fierce combat sports names into the Octagon after long layoffs. Jones last fought in March 2023, whereas 'Stone Cold' had not stepped into the Octagon since March 2021 when he lost to Ngannou. Let's start with the reigning heavyweight champ, Jon Jones. Born in July 1987 in New York City, he joined the UFC in 2008. He debuted in UFC 87 against Andre Gusmao and has never looked back since then. Jones is known for his athleticism and orthodox fighting style, which can surprise his opponents with flashy strikes and takedowns. This was evident in his showdown against Bonnar in UFC 94, where he controlled the tempo of the fight excellently using his wrestling skills. Stipe made history after successfully defending his title at UFC 211 against Nagannou via a unanimous decision. His profile is impressive.
