Jiri Lehecka of Czech Republic will take on Ugo Humbert of France in the first round of the 2025 Dubai Tennis Championship. Lehecka is coming into Dubai with a newfound confidence after reaching the semifinal in Qatar and scalping the head of former world’s No.1 and top seed Carlos Alcaraz 6-3 3-6 6-4. Lehecka has emerged as a legitimate contender in every tournament he competes, compiling a 13-3 record this season. Humbert is fresh off a title-run in his backyard, having won the Open 13 Provence tourney in Marseille. The Frenchman toppled Alexander Bublik, Lorenzo Sonego, Zizou Bergs and Hamed Medjedovic, where he won 27 points on his first serves and drilled 13 aces, to capture his first ATP main tour title this year.
